Biker Sunday

Pastor Bob Kaps's greatest passions in life are serving God and his family, and spreading the gospel of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  But trailing very closely behind is his lifelong love of experiencing the open road on two wheels.  Pastor Bob has been riding motorcycles for most of his life and has consequently always had a heart for reaching out to the Biker community in his ministries -- dating back to before he ever became a pastor.  And that's why each spring since 1999, Heart of God Fellowship has hosted an annual "Biker Sunday" service targeted specifically at speaking to the hearts of bikers from all around the area.

These services are unassuming and uplifting, while bringing a message of redemption, grace and salvation to many who might otherwise never attend a church service.  We enjoy great music, a free barbecue cookout, and have ministers prepared to bless the bikes of everyone who attends.  It has become such a popular event that it has grown to one of the largest collections of bikers in the Kansas City area each year, attracting nearly 400 bikes in 2010.
