Pastor Bob started Heart of God Fellowship as a home ministry several years ago
and has seen that small group grow into a multi-faceted ministry organization serving
several communities in the Kansas City area. Pastor strives to live a life dedicated
to sharing the love, peace, and freedom of the Gospel's grace message with people

Kirk Merritt,
Music & Worship Director
Kirk Merritt began his musical journey at a very early age where he began playing
piano at age 7, guitar at 16 and was primarily self-taught until he began studying
with formal music instructors. He traveled around the U.S. for several years with
Fish Ministries, reaching out and sharing the gospel through music, and he has been
in music ministry for 15 years. Kirk truly cares about people and desires to empower
and encourage people to use there gifts and abilities in the local church. |

Melissa Dziurawiec, Youth Minister - Buckner
Melissa is the daughter of Pastor Bob Kaps and has been leading Heart of God's youth ministries for
the past 10 years. Along with her husband, Chris, she teaches the youth group on
Thursday nights in Buckner. Through a recent sermon she preached, you could really
see and feel her heart and the love she has for the young men and women in our church
and her desire to be a positive influence in their lives. |

Ross Given, Youth Minister - Odessa
Ross, along with his wife Tiona, lead our youth services at our Odessa campus.,
Ross has been heavily involved in our youth ministry for the past 4 years where
he took over the Youth Minister position in Odessa in the summer of 2008. There
he has been leading the youth with passion and energy that really speaks to and
connects with the young men and women in Odessa. |
