Band of Brothers: Men's Ministry
Meets every Tuesday at 7:00pm and the 1st Saturday of the month for breakfast at 9:00am in Buckner
The men's ministry meets at church for a time of bonding and learning the real purpose of a man according to God's Word, rather than what the world has to offer. Our intent is to restore biblical manhood, which is far from the "traditional" beliefs about what it should be. Our men are involved in hands on community outreach along with doing things together like ball games, camping, hunting, fishing, etc. Once a month they also have a fellowship breakfast at the church and our Pastor brings them a message.

Married Couples' Fellowship
Meets on the 4th Friday of the month in the church fellowship hall
Married couples of Heart of God Fellowship meet in the fellowship hall at the church for an evening of dinner and fellowship where the dinner theme changes from month to month. The group meets in Odessa on the odd months (January, March, May, July, September, November) and in Buckner on the even months. This is a great time to get to know each other. Pastor Bob most often brings a short teaching, and depending on the time of year, other seasonal activities take place.

Young Adults
Meets on the 3rd Friday of the month at various locations
Ranging from 18 thru 35, young adults are just entering the servant hood position within the body of Christ. There are both single and married people involved. They spend time together in fellowship, social activities, and study the Word as it specifically applies to their unique situations. The goal of our young adults is to take their place within the body of Christ in a meaningful, effective way, serving and leading wherever God places them. They meet for Bible Study and plan a social outing or event at least every other month. They have a lot of fun together without falling for any of the world's ways of "fun". Achievers
This group is for the 36 to 55 age group. Lots of fun to be had in this group! See Kathy G. for activities information.

Young @ Heart
Don't be fooled; this is the most active group of people in the church! Age 56 and beyond, Young@Heart are not only socially active with each other, they are very active in the community. They haven't even begun to slow down! Please see Ruby E. for information about meetings.

Home Group
Meets weekly at various members' homes
We meet weekly at Ray and Kathy Weddle's home. The purpose of the small group is to gain a closer bond with each other and to improve our walk with Jesus in a more intimate setting. The group is very interactive, each person having a perspective to offer and that causes growth in all of us. Ever so often we have "socials"; ice cream, watermelon, BBQ, theme dinners, field trips, etc. Come and join us! See Kathy W. for information.
